"That sounds both frustrating and a blessing in disguise," Piper said with a laugh. She knew if she was in Hades's shoes, she'd be torn on wanting to prove that she had a life outside of what was expected and also be grateful to have the respite.

She snorted and allowed herself a smile. "A decade is definitely a long time for mortals and yet I'm sure, in time, I will find out that it's no time at all. I'm looking forward to freshening up my closet."

Piper tilted her head and raised an eyebrow. She wasn't surprised to hear that but it was interesting. She nodded. "That is good to know," she said after a moment then grinned. "I don't believe she meant to send the message to me but it was still interesting."
