The rest of the show was a spectacle of lights and glitter and animals and mystery. Tricks that were nothing like anyone had ever seen, that they couldn't replicate, and much as they tried no one of them could manage to figure out.

Then the stage went dark and the lights came on and one of the sequin clad gentlemen came to her table. "If you'll come with me, Miss," he says with a wide smile and turns to head for backstage. "Can we get you a drink?"
