As young as he is, he hasn't learned to be careful. Especially not how he started out on the path he is. Being returned to his own world, or some world like his and making a life was one thing. Now though he still had to learn how to protect himself as much as he did others.
He smiles at that. "Most are taught not to be honest about their age. I didn't learn that due to various reasons." And now he was alone, but he's learned enough not to admit that as clearly and openly.
"I became a doctor to help people. Now I'm in a very unique position to help people who usually don't have anyone to turn. Of course I'll give it a try and see what I can find out. I never promise anything, but I'll do my best," he offers with a smile. "Besides, it's nice to maybe have someone who isn't pretending to be a Victorian vampire... or you know, actually is one. I swear they're the only ones that never grew out of their time period.
He reaches into his bag to pull out a slim leather case that he hands out to her. "Of course I'm sure. Just don't die with it in your system, okay? You can already tell that if you were turned, I don't have the education to help you like I should," he points out with a grin.
The smile tightens but doesn't fade.
"I'd appreciate that. It's mostly just me these days but I do see others here." Aliens and vampires and now immortals, oh my.
