"Thanks. I appreciate that. I had a crash course in madness and coping with things and I think it's set me up well." He's learned a lot in that other world, even if he suspects even those that know about their life won't believe him with what he's been through.

"I promise. Everything from today and that will be destroyed. And I have places to keep it until then that are away from others. Because of my secondary doctor's clinic, I have a space I use just for this. I'll do my best to keep you and the samples safe."

And he means it. Whatever he can do for others. It's always been how he's worked.

"I just don't want you taking chances with things like today and if you hadn't gotten my help. Now if there's a bullet or anything, consider if it's desperate. I'd hate to have to cut you back open to get a bullet out."

He smiles at that, drawing out a small note pad and writing an address on it. "This is my place, and then we'll go to where I do research for my outside of humans work. If you're okay with that."
