"Can't imagine that'd be easy but at least that'll help. This world seems to just get crazier by the day and that's only the normal world. The supernatural world is worse." But perhaps that was her side of things and the fight she was taking against those who wronged her.

Piper nodded. "I appreciate that, thank you." She had no reason to think he'd lie to her. Especially not after he'd come to some hotel room, patched up a complete stranger, and given her some of his blood.

"I can't make promises for not taking chances. Plenty of vampires and a couple of demons are inconsiderate. They don't feel like scheduling our fights with two weeks' notice," she mused with a teasing smile. "Though, the poisoned knife, I will be watching out for more closely."

She smiled. "Absolutely. For everything you've done for me tonight, I'm happy to ward both places." She felt loads better already and while she knew most of it was the vampire blood, she felt part of it could be blamed on maybe having an answer very soon about her.

It was only starting to dawn on her that the first vampire doctor she's ever met was also extremely handsome. Now was certainly not the time.
