"Not at all comforting and yet..." He shrugs even as he works on carefully packing up things. Including putting all the clothes he's used into a paper bag that he can later throw in the fire. Showing just how careful he is going to be with her blood.

"Perfect. I can drive, if you want. I mean, maybe you shouldn't be driving until tomorrow. Just to give your system time to replenish," he says, glad though she accepted his offer. He's always finding new and interesting people in his new world but she tops the list by far.

"Ooooh, I suspect Arturo would insist on both feeding you and helping you if you did. As it is, he'll only insist on feeding you," he admits. "Blood he might sadly be kind of used to around here. The town gets its share of weirdness."
