She watches how careful he is at packing up the clothing and is grateful that he would show that same respect for the items that have her blood on them. She hands over the balled-up tank top with her blood. "I don't know if you'll get anywhere further with that, but... any bit of information will help."
Piper's mouth curls up and she nods. "That sounds good," she stands from the hotel bed, anticipating the pain again but sighs in relief when it doesn't come. "One second." And with that, she walks over to her suitcase, opens it up, and pulls out a top. After a few minutes in the bathroom after quickly cleaning up, she walks back out and slips on a pair of boots.
It was late and she was going to be with Kyle, so the chances of running into anything paranormal were genuinely a tossup. Still, habits like having on shoes she could fight in were hard to break even for a night.
"Good to know," she says with an amused grin, putting a few bills into her back pocket. "I'm ready when you are. What kind of weirdness is this town known for? I mean, other than it's alien lore."
Did she have any idea that aliens were in fact real? No. But would she be surprised to ever find out that they were? Also no.
"By the way, how much do I owe you for the house visit," she asks, now that the pain has subsided, thinking a little clearer.
