First Impression: A Powerhouse
What Would Surprise Someone: She has spent the last decade avenging her cousin and boyfriend's deaths.
Weakness: She is so goal motivated / workaholic that she doesn't take care of herself the way she should. She'll forget to eat and keep up with her wardrobe. She also has to have that goal or work in order to feel like she's contributing something.
The Hill She'll Die On: To live as authentically as she can.
The Beginning :: The Enchanted :: I Know EverythingPiper Allison // Alessandra De Luca once thought she had it all. She was so sure she knew everything there was about everything. She prided herself on learning multiple languages and being busy, graduating college, and starting a career. Piper had a man who she was absolutely in love with (and would do anything for). She had her best friend/cousin Jordan Davings and they were sorting out this 'Chosen One'/'The Enchanted' business. Piper felt confident that they had it all together; all they had to do was get to Jordan's 21st Birthday and they would have an easier time since Jordan would be immortal then.
All that came crashing down when a group of demons, vampires, and witches (and others surely) grouped up to destroy The Enchanted. During patrol one night, and after a nasty fight with Piper, Jordan, and David are killed in an ambush. Piper and Ben make it to the fight but they're too late.
The After :: A Reluctant Chosen One :: I Need to Know More
After seeing her best friend and her boyfriend die in front of her, Piper essentially disappears and Alessandra De Luca (an homage to her maternal grandmother) is brought to life. Instead of focusing on the grief and guilt she feels, Les sought out training in everything she can get her hands on. Martial arts, sword fighting, additional magic training, guns - anything that will put her one step above her enemies. Although she and Ben never got along before, they quickly form an easy alliance with a shared mission - bringing down everyone who was involved in Their deaths. Ben - now Adonis - works from within and sends her information as he's able. Ten years later, they take the final guy out.
It takes another six months for Piper to feel like she can make peace with what happened in London and finally make peace with Adonis. After all, fighting is easier than facing the guilt and grief that you've pushed deep down inside for a decade.
So, what happens when a "Chosen Duo" becomes a "Chosen One"? Well, if you ask her, she doesn't exactly feel like a Chosen One anymore. But, some habits are hard to break and there are some beings who simply never got the memo.

The World The world of The Enchanted operates much like our own world. However, unlike our own, magic is very much alive and tangible. Living amongst normal humans (those without magic) are beings with powers such as witches/mages, vampires, werewolves, demons, and just about anything/everything in between. Most humans are aware of the existence of the supernatural world living amongst them but they do their best to turn a blind eye to it. After all, life is hard enough without adding magic to the mix. But, when things happen outside of their control, the supernatural world is always the first one they point a finger at.
The Prophecy: Long ago, there was a prophecy made about The Enchanted.
They would come at a time of great need and will be a force of good. They will restore balance and become the strongest witches of their generation. On their twenty-first birthdays, they would become immortal with death only coming for them either by their own hand or by a spelled athame. Rumor had it that because they were to restore balance, one would lean toward the traditional 'good' side and one would lean toward the 'darker' side.
The Family wanted the girls to be found early on and trained from a young age so their sole focus would be 'fighting the forces of darkness'. But thanks to more immediate family members - namely Piper's Dad and Jordan's Grandmother - they were able to hide the girls away until their 18th birthdays.

Powers / Magic

Not normally something she can control and comes to her as needed.
pyrokinesis (her specialty)/thermokinesis
It was her first ability from when she was a child and so she has extreme control over it until she is really angry. This can be as simple as lighting a candle to a ball of fire to burning down an entire city if she really wanted to. She's also been able to burn things without it leaving a mark. She can also control heat and how hot something burns.
water manipulation
She can conjure water out of thin air with a single thought. This is not her strongest ability and so doesn't have as much control over it. However, if push came to shove, she'd make it work.
telepathy
She can easily perceive emotions, feelings, and thoughts from others unless they are particularly strong in blocking them. She also has the ability to directly speak to someone in their mind should she really need to or want to (that was how she and Jordan sometimes spoke) but doesn't do it with just anyone.
telekinesis
She can influence objects and move them with her mind or hand.
molecular combustion (blowing things up) - post revenge mission
shadow magic - post revenge mission
Perhaps thanks to her past life as Sionnach or being back in New Orleans, Piper has slowly obtained a new ability (or three) specifically in regard to shadows/shadow magic. This will include using the shadows as a means of transportation (slipping in and out of places), manipulation, concealing and others to be explored.

- she can sense what a person is or at least become aware that they're not a normal human. she can tell who is a vampire, werewolf, fellow witch or a demon typically but there are still things she's learning.
